On Monday 20 April, we received delegates from Japan’s leading aerospace companies (Synspective, SpaceData Inc, IHI Aerospace Co., Fujitsu, and NEC corporation) for a working dinner exchange together with Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) Director of the Space Industry Division TAKAHAMA Wataru, representatives from the Prime Minister’s Cabinet and the Mission of Japan to the EU. During the lunch, discussions revolved around cooperation in the space domain with European counterparts.
The following day, the Mission of Japan to the EU organised a workshop aimed at bringing together Japanese space companies interested in strengthening collaboration with their European counterparts attended by representatives from our Mission. The workshop invited representatives from both the EU and NATO to build mutual understanding and foster closer cooperation between Japan and its European counterparts.
