Position Opening at the Mission of Japan to NATO (Driver)

The Mission of Japan to NATO is looking for a new local staff member who can start working from end of February 2026 onward for the below-stated position. The contract period is 6 months, with the possibility of renewal subject to performance.
 
DRIVER
 
1. Job Description

You will work as a driver of the Mission of Japan to NATO’s official car fleet. In particular, you will be in charge of the day-to-day driving of the official vehicles, including transport of diplomats, government officials, and other visitors to and from the airport or train station, the transport of diplomats to and from their business appointments (for this kind of transport, you are expected to work outside of working hours, including early morning and in the evening), delivery of documents and transport of luggage, as needed. General duties include maintenance and supervision of the vehicles as well.
 
2. Profile

・Adequate Belgian work permit 
・Valid Belgian driving license (B-license)
・Experience as a driver or in a similar role, knowledge of the road conditions in Brussels and surrounding area
・Good communication skills in English and French
 
3. Salary and Working Hours

・Monthly salary 2,500 – 3,800 euro (Gross salary. This is a salary guideline: experience, etc. will be considered)
・Monday to Friday. Full-time 38h/week (in accordance with Belgian legislation)
