【Joint Staff】CSJJS Gen UCHIKURA meeting with Chair of the NATO Military Committee Admiral Giuseppe Cavo DRAGONE

From May 29 to 31, Japan Joint Staff, Chief of Staff (CSJJS) Gen UCHIKURA Hiroaki attended the 23rd Asia Security Summit (IISS Shangri-La Dialogue), hosted by the International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS), together with Defense Minister KOIZUMI Shinjiro. On the margins of the Summit, Gen UCHIKURA met with Chair of the NATO Military Committee, Admiral Giuseppe Cavo DRAGONE. 

The two sides exchanged views on further advancing Japan–NATO defense cooperation in light of their respective security environments. They also concurred to continue strengthening coordination, including close communication between the two sides.
