Japanese Industry Representatives Meeting with Belgian Defense Industry and Participation in the Japan-EU Defence Industry Dialogue

During the week of 13 April, a delegation of Japanese industry representatives was in Belgium to strengthen the communication and collaboration with European NATO countries and gain a better understanding of both the EU and NATO.
During their visit, the delegation met with Belgian NIAG representative, Frédéric GIVRON, Agoria - BSDI CEO Bart STEUKERS, and Belgian defense industry representatives. During the meeting, they explored NIAG activities and identified promising areas for future cooperation.
Additionally, the delegation met with NATO Assistant Secretary General for Defence Industry, Innovation and Armaments, Tarja JAAKKOLA. The discussion focused on the benefits of increased collaboration between Japan and NATO countries‘ defense industries.
Finally, they participated in the Japan-EU Defence Industry Dialogue (DID) concluding a productive and successful visit.
